Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of employee engagement and perceived organizational support on the performance of hotel employees in South Sulawesi during the COVID-19 pandemic, and analyse the impact of educational management strategies in improving these relationships. The research method used was a survey method by sending questionnaires to hotel employees selected as samples. The collected data were analysed using regression analysis techniques. The results showed that employee engagement and perceived organizational support have a positive and significant effect on the performance of hotel employees in South Sulawesi during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, education management strategies also have a positive and significant effect in improving the relationship between employee engagement, perceived organizational support, and employee performance. This study makes an important contribution in expanding the understanding of the factors that influence hotel employee performance during the COVID�19 pandemic and provides recommendations for hotel management in improving employee performance
